Dr. Erkut Sogut says he is pleased to be in
Ghana and meet Arsenal supporters and Ozil fans as well. The
meeting took place on the 3rd December, 2019 at the Lethawood Pub
and Grill in Madina, Accra at 7 pm.
Dr Erkut is one of the most powerful agents in the world of
football and he has taken the initiative of developing football agents, players
and families. He is the founder of football Agent Education.
DR. Ekut's foremost purpose for visiting Ghana is to also lecture
students on sports management in two universities Ghana Institute of Journalism
and Legon as well as to scout talented young players.
He also stated, he loves lecturing and educating both players and
family on the football agency. ”I love to teach players and their families on
the important of education in the field of their career and contracts that
comes along with it” says Dr. Erkut.
He further said, that Ozil
is using his legendary figure to help children and young talented players
around the world. “I never seen a player who gives a lot his earning to help
develop children and young talented players” – DR. Erkut.
Arsenal supporter’s Ghana presented a handmade pencil drawings portrait
of his client Mesut Ozil to him. The portrait was done by one of the executive member of the Arsenal Supporter’s Ghana Nana Antwi Baafi. DR. Ertkut thanked Arsenal Supporter’s Ghana for the
gift and promise to talk to Ozil to visit Ghana soon.
The Arsenal Supporter’s Ghana on other hand, thanked him for Mesut
Ozil’s signed Jersey presented to them , agreeing to meet and interact with
them.
DR. Erkut also donated
signed jerseys of Mesut Ozil to a football team with the name “OZIL FC” at Aburi.
